ELI – "Know your Enemy"

In order to keep up with the constantly changing world of systems and network exploits, we have established the ESS Lab Initiative (ELI). The ELI is a full-blown test environment where ESS engineers examine real world exploits in a sealed, controlled setting. We populate ELI with the latest hardware and software releases to create a constantly changing group of "Test Subjects" (or victim hosts). These subjects are then monitored while under attack to determine their resilience to compromise. Our Lab is updated constantly to reflect shifting industry standards, always pitting leading edge systems against bleeding edge attacks. The essence of the initiative is to ensure that our processes reflect a cutting edge defense against the myriad of possible attacks that could be launched at a business enterprise.
